Training Friends For Life, One Step At A Time

The goal of "A New Leash on Life" is to help you teach your pet desired behaviors while at the same time, keeping that unique spark that makes your dog special to you. The results can be one of the most rewarding relationships of your life.

One of the top reasons dogs are turned in to shelters is because they are not obedient. We will provide you with the necessary tools and instruction to effectively train your dog.

There are many factors that shape a dog's behavior besides training including nutrition, environment and socialization. With positive and effective training methods, your dog can become an intelligent and happy member of the family.

Lessons are conducted in your home and are an hour long. The act of you working with your dog as a team goes a long way in forging a lasting bond. It provides a critical foundation in which to correct and even prevent certain behavioral problems.
(8 weeks to 5 Months)
This is a five week course that is geared towards teaching the simple basic commands to help give them a head start. Studies have proven the most critical learning period occurs between seven and 16 weeks of age. Let us help motivate and shape your puppy’s behavior. Don’t wait until it's too late!
(5 Months and Up)
The basic obedience course is a seven week program with classes being an hour long. Emphasis of this course includes basic obedience commands, behavior problems, nutrition and education. We believe that whoever said "You Can’t Teach An Old Dog New Tricks", just didn't know how.
This program was designed for those who want to continue working with their dogs beyond the basics. This course starts where basic obedience left off. You will learn how to gain more focus and control, AKC hand signals, the basics of leash-off work and more.
This is a test to show that your dog is well-mannered. It is given and cetified by the American Kennel Club.
